Guest House Midam is a traditional residential ''-ja hanok house located in Bukchon Village between Gyeongbokgung Palace and Changdeokgung Palace. The old hanok has been renovated neatly and cozily so that visitors can rest comfortably.

Midam Hanok Guesthouse

The yard and the sky outside the door are so pretty. I came here because I wanted to lie down on the warm ondol and chat, and it was exactly what I had imagined. I had a great time with my friends. It was also so quiet at night that I slept well. The owner was so kind and took good care of me, and the breakfast, which was tailored to my schedule, was so delicious. I should have taken a picture sitting on the porch, but I didn't, so I'm planning on visiting again^^

It was my first Hanok accommodation. The front door and the room are secured with door locks and padlocks, and it is small but clean. I liked the thick bedding, and the owner was very kind. I also liked that they prepared shower products such as disposable sponges and disposable toothpaste. There are things to see in Bukchon, London Bagel, and a large convenience store nearby, so the location is good. However, the only regrets are that there is no TV, and the bathroom is small. The soundproofing is also poor. When I sleep, cold air comes in through the door, so it would be good to seal the gap, and the floor is warm, so I am satisfied. Breakfast was just 1 slice of bread, 1 fried egg, 1 sausage, and milk/coffee beans, so it was a little lacking. (They provide plenty of strawberry jam and butter.) I also ate the London bagel I bought. I think it would be better if they increased the amount or provided additional self-service bread or some fruit~~ I had a good rest and am leaving^^

1. The owner is super friendly. Early check-in is not possible, but if you contact the owner, you can visit before 3 o'clock and store your luggage. 2. The room was cozy. I added a bedding to the double room, but the owner said it might be uncomfortable because it was small. In fact, there was no space left after unfolding all three beddings, but since I'm the type to just sleep in the room, it wasn't inconvenient at all. Rather, it felt cozy. And if it's narrow, you can just play without unfolding the blanket and unfold it before going to bed. 3. The breakfast coffee was delicious. 4. The view was so pretty. 5. The bathroom was clean. 6. It's close to London Bagel. 7. The alley was pretty, etc... It was a place that was really full of advantages. Totally recommended!

It was a cozy and pretty place to stay. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was friendly. It was a fun trip with the kids.

Originally, I had made a reservation at a different hanok guesthouse, but it was canceled right before payment because someone else had already made a reservation. But soon after the cancellation, the owner of that hanok guesthouse sent me to several hanok guesthouses around Bukchon, and this was one of them. I chose it because the price seemed reasonable, and I visited on the day with high expectations, but this was the first time I've seen such a kind owner... 😳They even cleaned my suitcase and put it in the room, and they kindly explained everything from start to finish! At first, I thought the breakfast was poor, but when I actually ate it, it wasn't bad and it was fine. I don't know if it's because I don't usually eat breakfast... ㅜㅜ(I couldn't tell them that they didn't have to prepare my friend's, so they prepared my friend's too, and I'm so sorryㅠㅠ) Anyway, I'm going to go again sometime this year❤️

From the moment I entered until I left, the owner was very kind and meticulous in checking for any inconveniences. I would like to visit again. It was even better because it was quiet and peaceful.^^

It's a pity that I couldn't take pictures. It was a small Hanok accommodation. Even though I checked in late, they opened the door for me and guided me and treated me kindly. I appreciate that. It was a double room, so it was small for three adults, but it was okay. The bathroom was clean and there was everything except a toothbrush. It was located in Bukchon, so it was convenient and nice to get around. I can stay there again. I will.

My baby and I spent three days on a trip to Bukchon. Thanks to the kind owner, we had a great time resting. It was nice that there were separate bathrooms. I want to visit again in the winter. 💛

It was nice to stay with my child. In particular, we enjoyed spending time sitting on the floor. It was fun to hear my lively child quietly chatting in the unique, inexplicable silence that dominates the guesthouse (he said it was stuffy when he got home). When I took a walk around the village in the morning, the village was quiet, and there were hanoks and cute shops in every alley, so it was fun to walk. It was very convenient to use public transportation or walk. However, there was one thing that was stuffy because I couldn't open the windows. So I was disappointed that I had to turn on the air conditioner to avoid the heat. Other than that, it was a satisfactory accommodation.

The owner took care of us from check-in to check-out and was very kind. The breakfast was simple but delicious, and he recommended places to visit nearby. The room was not big, but it was a good size, and the bathroom was clean and well-maintained, which was nice. Hanok has a different feel depending on the season, so I want to come back in the winter too. I had a comfortable time with my friends!

I was really grateful because I could feel how much the owner cared for and was considerate of me in the cleaning, breakfast, and toiletries he prepared!! I thought breakfast was served separately, but he made it right on time for me to wait ㅠㅠ The sausages served for breakfast didn't taste cheap but were delicious (?)ㅎㅎ I shared a double room with my mother, and my mother was also very satisfied with the pretty blanket, clean room, quiet without the noise of cars, and the wallpaper and wood color of the accommodation ㅎㅎ Although it's in Bukchon Hanok Village, it's not a crowded alley, but just 1-2 minutes away, so there was no noise and it was nice!! There are so many things to see and eat just by walking around the area near the accommodation^^!!

I arrived late at night, but they welcomed me kindly. There were three people in a double room, and although the room was small, it was not uncomfortable. I checked out in the morning, walked around the quiet alleys of Bukchon, and stopped by a cafe and a craft museum. The location was good, so it was convenient. I want to visit again next time.

It's close to Anguk Station, so it's easy to get to Changgyeonggung Palace and Gwanghwamun. Above all, the biggest advantage is that you can feel the hanok atmosphere in Seoul.

It's located near Anguk Station, so it's really convenient to visit, and there are many cafes to visit nearby, and most importantly, it's near London Bagel! It's perfect for those who are looking to open London Bagel, and it's also very quiet and cozy, so it's good to go alone or with friends to relax. The simple but clean and neat breakfast is also good :) I visited with my mom, and she loved it.

I went to Seoul to tour the palaces with my kids, and it was nice that Gyeongbokgung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace, and Changgyeonggung Palace were close by and I could rest quietly. There were many hot places nearby, so it was easy to walk there. They also made breakfast for me, so I ate well. I didn't know much about Seoul, so I asked a lot of questions, and they kindly told me everything, so I was grateful😄🙌

The floor was warm and the bedding was fluffy. It was a great location to wake up, wait for London Bagel, and check out!

No matter how many questions I ask, they always kindly answer them. They carefully ask me first if the bed is okay and if it's not cold. I went with a young baby and there was no discomfort at all and we stayed warm. There is a Runbemu main branch nearby, so I bought a bagel and had a good time looking around Bukchon. I definitely want to go back next time. I hope the owner prospers :)
