Cocoa Guesthouse

First of all, I chose it because it was a single room and the price was cheap, but it was not soundproof at all. The noise from outside the building continued until dawn... I think it was there until 6 or 7 in the morning... I could even hear the snoring from the room next door. And I stayed there every day, but there were no extra towels. Other than the cheap price and the single room, I think it was a bit uncomfortable.

It was really the worst. The bed was down so I couldn't sleep. The floor was also narrow so I had to put my feet under the bed and sleep. The small luggage space was noisy so I couldn't sleep.

It was a weekday, so there weren't many visitors, so I was able to rest quietly. There was a dog-related building right next door, so I could hear dogs barking. I think it was because they were too close. I could hear music until dawn, but I'm not sure if it was because of the surrounding stores or because they originally played music. I think the noise blocking on the door side was insufficient, so the sound of the door, footsteps, and bathroom door were a bit loud. Other than that, I was satisfied.

Hongdae-Sangsu A guesthouse in a really good location. It seems to be aimed at foreign tourists, but Koreans were also kindly welcomed. The room has a cozy interior with a Hanok theme. The bathroom and shower facilities are all clean and neatly maintained. The common area where breakfast is available was also well maintained. The only downside is that it is a little noisy outside because it is in such a good location, but if that were a problem, I wouldn't be looking for accommodation in the main commercial area of Hongdae.
