Kensington Hotel Yeouido

First of all, the location is very good. Honestly, it seems okay for people who come up from the countryside because there is Yeouido Hyunbaek and a Michelin-starred cold noodle restaurant nearby. The room condition is not bad either... When we stayed there, the electricity suddenly went out, maybe because it was old... On top of that, the lights were flickering in the morning... So I was a bit flustered. In the end, we repaid the discounted price... The toilet in the room we stayed in was a bit of a semi-flush type?!?1 It also felt like that... I was expecting a view of the Han River, but you have to look really closely to see the Han River view... ㅋㅋㅋ The location was good. And I have more to say... ㅋㅋㅋ But I won't say it... ㅋㅋㅋ

The hotel was really beautifully decorated for Christmas, and it was really luxurious as a 5-star hotel, but the price was cheap, so I really liked it. The only downside is that there are no good restaurants nearby, but the Han River is close, so I was able to see everything and have a good rest!!

Perhaps because it is a 4-star hotel, the service provided by the staff is disappointing. Some are friendly, but there are also quite a few who are not.

Since it's an old hotel, I think they do a lot of maintenance from time to time. The bathroom in the room I was trying to check into was broken, so they changed my room, and there were work shoe marks in the bathroom... ugh... I felt uncomfortable every time I went to the bathroom. 6. Bring a toothbrush and toothpaste! 7. I thought I was going to die from the heat because of the central heating.

Four friends visited and we were all very satisfied! Although there are not many kinds of food, each dish is of good quality, fresh and delicious! It's a famous place and the staff are friendly. I made a reservation through Agoda two months in advance because of the fireworks festival. They said it didn't have to be a window with a good view, but it might not be. I understood that far. As expected from a luxury hotel, there was a paper related to the 2-night stay with the blanket laundry on the bed, and everything was fine. However, when I lifted the pillow, there was foreign matter and mold or something on the sheet and all four pillows. I checked in late at night, so I took a picture when I checked out and showed it to the desk. I don't know how I slept in that situation, but since I made the reservation through Agoda, they said that refunds were not possible, so I contacted the relevant app. I used a standard room for 400,000 won including the room rate and service fee, but they said that the full amount would not be refunded, so I had to cancel the entire stay and pay a portion of the amount again. Is this correct?

Is this the right city view? It needs to be corrected to no view. I really don't recommend this for a family of four.

This was my first time visiting Kensington Hotel Yeouido, but it's easy to get to because there's a station within a 10-minute walk, and the Han River is right in front, so it's great for going out and buying delicious food when the weather's nice.🌟 Since it's an old hotel, the temperature control isn't great, so it felt a little hot! Other than that, I was satisfied with the facilities, bedding, and breakfast. I arrived late in the evening and asked about a late check-out, and thanks to Manager Jin-ho Choi at the front desk (I wrote his name down because I was grateful), I was able to prepare leisurely :) I'd like to visit again!

A quick staycation with friends. Unlimited cocktails, wine, and beer in the evening ~ It's good. It's more about snacks than meals, but I ate until I was full. The room was also clean. View of the Pureunbokgum Church ^^ The pillows were a bit uncomfortable, so I woke up several times. The breakfast was better than I thought. It's not salty and it's delicious!

I knew it was an old facility, but it's a big deal that the room condition is a mess because it's old and they neglected to maintain it. The mold and rust on the bathroom floor, ceiling, and under the shelves were so obvious that I doubted if I was staying at a 4-star hotel. I felt bad about the money I paid to stay at this hotel. I visited with my child. They kept our luggage while we checked in and were very kind. They even valeted the car for us, so it was comfortable. I had a child, so I reserved a car bed, but I knew it would make noise, but they said the cable connecting it was old and now it doesn't make noise. If they had announced it in advance, my child and I would have been less disappointed. However, there was a separate desk, chair, sofa, etc. for children, so my child loved it! If you go early for breakfast, you can use it without waiting. We went 20 minutes late and waited to use it. There was a bathtub and a soft bed, and it was nice, but there was no Netflix, so I think I fell asleep watching the public broadcast Love and War with a friend. I don't think I'll ever forget it.
